Text box definition

[Text box Modification]
This window is used to enter or to modify the texts contained in your Web pages. These texts can contain or not HTML tag.
A HTML tag is a text recognized like an order and interpreted by a Web navigator. It appears in the text between < and >.
Example here: b, /b, br
The buttons of the tools bar are used to introduce some of its tags (most usually used).
The buttons [Characters font] is used to change the font of the selected text.
  • in bold
  • in italic
  • underlined
  • or organizes it as the window shows it::

The button [Comment]  transforms the text selected into comment in the Web page.
The button [Non-breaking space]  inserts a space which will not be removed by the navigator.
The buttons [Titles]  transform the text selected into title of size 1, 2 or 3.
These buttons [Unordered list]  define a list with point. The first delimits the list. The second insert a point at the beginning of each line.
The button [line feed]  inserts a line feed.
The button [Insert a link] inserts a link hypertext towards: either another Web page [File selection] of your site or towards another site [Explorer].
You can to choose the way to open the link in the same window or in another of the web navigator.
How to modify an inserted link. You have to double-click in the link or to select the text since the sign "<" followed by A HREF until the sign "/A>"and to click on the button [Insert a link]. 		[Insert a web link]
The button [Insert an image]  is used to insert an image in the text. [Insert an image]
The choice of the image is done by the button [Image selection].
The image can be an image JPEG (*.jpg; *.jpeg), an image GIF (*.gif), a bitmap (*.bmp), an icon (*.ico) or a metafile (*.wmf; *.emf). The other types of images can be used, but neither will be visualized by IsiWeb nor treated, but the image will be visualized in the Web page.
Modifying the width or the height can reduce the image. The proportion of the image is always respected.
The button [Size] is used to reconsider the initial size of the image.
A comment will appear in bubble on the image.
To modify an inserted image, you have to double-click in the link or to select the text since the tag "img" to the character ">"and to click on the button [Image selection].
The button [mail to] is used to insert an email link in the text.
You have to fill the address mail and the text which will appear in the page. To modify an inserted link mail to, you have to double-click in the link or to select the text since the sign "<" followed by a href until the sign "/A>"and to click on the button [mail to]. 		[Insert an email link]
  • The button [Orthography and grammar] is used to check the orthography and grammar by calling upon the inspectors of Microsoft Word provided that this software is installed on your machine.
  • If Word is not installed on the machine verification is done with Hunspell (same spelling Open Office, thank you Stefan Ascher for THunspell Demo and Adrian Ilie : C + + Builder version, DB aware components trailers. Hunspell)
    The directory containing the dictionaries is shown in Isiweb.ini (RepDict) and the dictionary Dict = en_US.

The buttons [Text alignment]  are used to align the text in the box left, center, right. IsiWeb adds at the beginning of the text respectively [G], [C] or [D].
The buttons [Cut, copy, paste] are used to cut, to copy, to paste in the text
The buttons [Undo, redo] are used to undo et redo changes in the text.
The buttons [Text Search] are used to :
  • search a text
  • search next
  • search prior
The F3 key search next also. 		[Search text]
The button [Replace] is used to replace a text by another. [Replacement]
The button [Button specials characters] is used to copy (with th button Copy) to the clipboard the coding of special character like & or €.
Hit the character you want in the field "Search character"
The windows Specials Characters allows to crate new special character code. 		[Specials characters]
